Listen to Karl Schieneman, Founder and President of Review Less and a predictive coding consultant as he moderates what should be a special ESIBYtes show with an all-star cast and a special guest, his daughter, Chelsea Schieneman. In this podcast, we discuss the results of Chelsea’s extremely interesting Senior Year student marketing research project at John Carroll University where she surveyed 218 attorneys from around the country on their views regarding document review projects. This is a hot bed issue with managed review and technology either encroaching or adding value on review projects, depending on your perspective.
For this special show, we added some outside perspective including the most famous e-discovery father-sibling relationship which Chelsa and I are now chasing as the second most famous – Ralph Losey, head of e-discovery with Jackson Lewis and well known e-discovery blogger and his son, Adam Losey, an e-discovery attorney with the national law firm of Foley & Lardner. We are also joined by my good friend Barry Murphy, Co-founder and analyst with the E-Discovery Journal (the sponsor of this survey), and someone who I do some adjunct consulting work and writing with on Predictive Coding. This is a very informative podcast as we share some groundbreaking data on what e-discovery lawyers really think about document review with both data and perspectives of outside consultants and lawyers.
