Listen to Matt Clarke, a shareholder and member of the Ryley Carlock & Applewhite’s Document Control Group, and Karl Schieneman, Director of Legal Analytics & Review at JurInnov as moderator, as they discuss working with dedicated review spaces for staffing electronic discovery projects. Matt is the co-founder of Ryley Carlock & Applewhite’s Document Control Group where he coordinates and leads project management for all e-discovery and document review projects in Phoenix, Arizona. Matt has spearheaded the firm’s effort to respond to emerging demand in the marketplace for cost effective, efficient, and quality driven litigation support services. Matt is actively involved in and speaks regularly on e-discovery issues. He also acts as co-counsel and serves as coordinating e-discovery and litigation support services counsel for law firms and corporate clients.

Karl Schieneman is the former owner of Pittsburgh, PA based contract attorney company Legal Network and was a Vice President at at the national staffing firm of Special Counsel after they acquired Legal Network in 2004. Now on the technology side of electronic discovery with JurInnov, he is nonetheless actively involved in the launching of JurInnov’s dedicated review space in Cleveland as well as developing analytical review tools. Karl will add some commentary based on his experiences in the staffing world.

The program will discuss issues associated with the human side of electronic discovery such as metrics, differences among review tools, rewarding good review work, quality control processes, and strategies, as well as risks, to avoid when building a review team for an electronic discovery project.
